Chris Hemsworth has been packing on the muscle during his arm day workouts over the last two years in order to be convincingly jacked in the forthcoming Hulk Hogan biopic, as well as the respective Thor and Extraction sequels he’s starring in. And he’s found a novel way to show off just how hard he’s been training his brachioradialis: with a “trippy” new forearm tattoo.

The actor just shared some shots of his latest inking session with Dillon Forte, a tattoo artist based in Austin, Texas, and revealed the intricate new design on his right forearm.

“Always fun catching up with @dillonforte,” Hemsworth wrote in the caption on Instagram. “What do ya get when ya mix an old mate, couple beers and a tattoo gun…some trippy sacred geometry.”

In sacred geometry, cosmic meaning is attributed to certain symbols, shapes and designs. This is Forte’s area of expertise as an artist, and he has done similar work on other celebrity clients, including Imagine Dragons bassist Ben McKee and tattooist Kat Von D, while his most famous work is still probably the head tattoo he did for R&B star Usher.

This isn’t Hemsworth’s first tattoo. As one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s six original Avengers, the Thor star has a matching “A” logo tattoo along with Black Widow a.k.a. Scarlett Johansson, Captain America a.k.a. Chris Evans, Iron Man a.k.a. Robert Downey Jr., and Hawkeye a.k.a. Jeremy Renner. Only the Incredible Hulk, Mark Ruffalo, declined the matching ink.

Hemsworth has also been tattooed with the initials of his wife Elsa Pataky and their three children India, Sasha and Tristan, and he has an illustration from Dr. Seuss on one of his biceps.
