The property features 227 rooms, including studio and one-bedroom apartments, designed to cater to both short and extended stays. Guests can enjoy well-equipped kitchenettes, dining spaces, and a range of amenities, including a fitness center, laundry facilities, and a café bar.

Design reflecting Cambridge’s literary heritage
The design of Wilde, Cambridge City Centre, reflects the city’s academic legacy and local culture. The interiors were created by London-based design firm Thurstan, blending traditional and contemporary elements. Artworks from Cambridge-based artists further enhance the connection to the city’s creative scene.
“Together, we created an environment that is not only visually engaging but also truly reflective of Cambridge’s unique character – offering guests a memorable and authentic experience from the moment they arrive.” – Grainne Keeley, Associate Director at Thurstan
Sustainability at the core of the property’s design
Sustainability is a central theme in the development of Wilde, Cambridge City Centre. The aparthotel features eco-friendly construction materials, air source heat pumps, 56 solar panels, and a rainwater harvesting system.
Additional green features include pollinator-friendly planting, bat and bird boxes, and a bee hotel. Water2 filtration systems ensure that all apartments offer clean, microplastic-free drinking water.

Expanding the Wilde brand in key locations
The opening of Wilde, Cambridge City Centre is part of Staycity Group’s ongoing expansion. Wilde now operates properties in key cities such as London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Oxford and Berlin, with future openings planned in Vienna, Lisbon, Porto, and Amsterdam.
“I am thrilled to be involved with bringing the Wilde brand to the beautiful, historic city of Cambridge and creating a space that showcases the city and forms a meeting place for the local community.” – Martin Newbould, the new general manager
Staycity Group’s Wilde brand continues to grow, aiming to expand its presence in prime European locations. The brand’s concept, focused on stylish and sustainable aparthotels, positions Wilde to attract both business and leisure travelers in the growing aparthotel market.
