Alienware’s OLED gaming monitors are a big hit for anyone who wants value, and today you can get one for an even better deal. The AW3423DWF is a 34-inch ultrawide with plenty of speed and a gorgeous OLED panel. Normally it goes for $700, which ain’t bad, but Amazon is selling it for just $549.99 right now. That’s about as good as it’s ever been for a non-refurbished sale.
The AW3423DWF got rave reviews, including a PCWorld Editors’ Choice nod, when it debuted. It offers a big 3440×1440 resolution, impressive 165Hz speed, and a lower starting price than any other comparable OLED monitor. At nearly three years old, it’s now a little long in the tooth, especially if you want faster refresh for online multiplayer games. But $550 USD for an ultrawide OLED is still darned hard to beat—I didn’t spot any that low on Prime Day, for example.
This deal is for you if you’re looking for an OLED ultrawide upgrade for a desktop PC and you want it for as cheap as it gets. Just be aware that it’s not a great companion for laptops or tablets without a USB-C port, and you might feel a little behind the curve if you need even more refresh. OLED deals this low tend to go quickly, so pick it up soon! If not, be sure to check out PCWorld’s roundup of the best monitors.
