It’s no secret glasses can be incredibly frustrating to shop for, but we have to make the best of what we’ve got when it comes to our vision. Lucky for us glasses have come a long way in the past 5-10 years. The technology in lenses continues to advance, the selection of frame styles have increased, the overall costs have lowered, and—perhaps the best of all—virtual try-ons have become easier than ever.
All of these advancements have led to buying glasses online less of a hassle (and sometimes even an enjoyment) for the people who need glasses for vision correction. And to be clear, there are a lot of people who need glasses out there. According to Vision Council, a non-profit trade association, there are about 166.5 million Americans (63.7%) wearing Rx eyeglasses.
