On Monday, some of the biggest celebrities and models of all time took the runway at Paris Fashion Week for Off-White’s Fall 2022 collection, “Spaceship Earth: An ‘Imaginary Experience,’” celebrating the life and work of the brand’s late designer, Virgil Abloh. The event marked the first Off-White runway show since Abloh’s death in November. The collection featured looks, all “designed, envisioned, and finalized” by the creative director prior to his passing, that showcased many of Abloh’s signature design elements, as well as his love of youth subcultures and streetwear. The final result is a collection “dedicated to cultural reinterpretation, disruption, and transformation as a means of instigating a new dialogue and format of the future,” per a press release from the brand.
