The recent ruling by Judge Analisa Torres regarding William Hinman’s (Former Director of SEC’s Finance Corporation) emails has sparked discussions within the XRP community. On May 16, the judge denied the SEC’s request to seal emails and drafts associated with one of Hinman’s cryptocurrency speeches in 2018. According to court rules, Hinman’s speech drafts are scheduled to be made public on June 13. However, despite the ruling, XRP enthusiasts speculate that the SEC may opt to settle with Ripple in order to avoid the release of these documents to the public.
