PUMA and LaQuan Smith first teased a joint collection at New York Fashion Week in 2021. Now, the iconic streetwear and high-fashion brands have officially launched a new collaboration.
Known for its streetwear and connection to Hip-Hop culture, PUMA is stepping into the luxury runway world of stapled 34-year-old fashion impresario Smith. “Blurring the lines between fashion and sports,” the “athluxury” capsule includes sneakers and apparel.
Added to the shoes are metallic-silver details and a monogrammatic PUMA accent on top, adding a flair of luxury. Both kicks feature a metallic lace lock with black laces. The Kosmo Rider has a mint green, gray, black, and silver colorway while the RS-X features a black, gray, and silver look.
Apparel offered in the sleek collection includes corset tops, body suits, leggings, and T-shirts. Like the footwear, metallic detailing, sharp lines, and mixed materials are featured throughout the apparel items.
Retailing for $60-$120, the PUMA x LaQuan Smith collection is available now exclusively at select Foot Locker stores and the retailer’s official website. PUMA’s latest collection with LaQuan Smith follows its other partnership with Balmain for a hoops-inspired capsule.
