A video detailing the sugar and calorific content of a Dunkin’ Donuts drink is blowing up online. Food vlogger Bobby Parrish, a.k.a. @flavcity, recently shared a short clip to TikTok in which he broke down exactly what goes into the popular chain’s Pumpkin Swirl Frozen Coffee—and a lot of viewers seem pretty shocked.
“Who the fuck thought it was a good idea to put this on the menu?” Parrish begins, before launching into a description of the beverage’s ingredients.
“This drink has 185 grams of sugar in here,” he says, explaining that this is the equivalent of 46 teaspoons of sugar. Or, for additional context, that’s the same amount of sugar as you would find in 14 of the store’s glazed donuts.

Parrish goes on to say that there is no actual pumpkin in the drunk, just a whole lot of artificial flavoring, all of which comes to a total of 930 calories. Not ideal, he goes on, given the prevalence of diabetes and pre-diabetic conditions in the United States. “If America runs in this, we’re fucked,” he adds.
The video has since been widely shared on Twitter.

so glad people are finally realizing that America is trying to kill us. there is ABSOLUTELY NO reason for this other than to cause health problems and line big pharma’s pockets, it’s literally unnatural and dangerous for a human to consume this much sugar in one sitting!!! https://t.co/uCkgkdWmkJ

However, some responses have made light of the video. “This made me realize donuts are so healthy,” reads one of the top comments on the original TikTok, while another jokes: “Girl math means if I don’t drink this I can eat 14 donuts.”
Others pointed out that most fast food chains aren’t exactly known for offering nutritionally balanced products to their customers.
