Meghan Markle was a real surprise at the debut of Pierpaolo Piccioli’s debut for Balenciaga.
Although she has been a fixture at New York Fashion Week—during her time as an actor on Suits, she frequently attended shows by Tory Burch, Peter Som, Wes Gordon, and Misha Nonoo, among others—this was her first time on the Parisian fashion circuit. Since her marriage to Prince Harry and her flirtation with royal engagements in 2020, Markle has taken a step back from the fashion world for more philanthropic appearances.
Pierpaolo Piccioli’s Balenciaga debut generated so much buzz that Meghan Markle didn’t hesitate to travel from Montecito to the City of Light for the occasion. She wore an outfit consisting of a white shirt, matching suit pants, black stilettos—a classic of the brand—and a luxe white cape that wrapped her in a subtle and elegant way.
