The Dream have been one of the best teams in the WNBA this season, boasting a 21-12 record, good enough for first place in the WNBA’s Eastern Conference. The team is 8-2 in its last 10 games, although it suffered a setback in its most recent contest, falling 80-78 to the Seattle Storm, despite 18 points and 10 rebounds from Brionna Jones and 21 points and two rebounds from Rhyne Howard.
Prior to that, the Dream had defeated the same Storm team 85-78 thanks to 22 points and 11 rebounds from Allisha Gray, and 25 points and seven assists from Howard. Legendary center Brittney Griner also contributed 11 points and eight rebounds in the win for the Dream.

Most recently, the Valkyries defeated the Chicago Sky 80-59 behind 20 points, four rebounds, and three assists from forward Cecilia Zandalasini. Another four players scored double-digit points for Golden State in the win, including Janelle Salaün, who had 15 points, six rebounds, and three assists in the win.
