Cowabunga dude! Fortnite’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles event is here, and one of the Quests asks players to “visit the lair and then travel East.” Thankfully, we know where to go, and how to complete this challenge, and we’re here to share it with you.

If there’s one thing Fortnite does a lot of, it’s crossovers. With Disney now confirmed to own a stake in Epic, we can expect even more to come, but for now, it’s all about those Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

If you want to get your hands on the special Shredder skin, here’s how you can complete one of Fortnite’s TMNT quests.

Where to find the lair in Fortnite

The lair can be found just southeast of Pleasant Park, near the factory and the train tracks. Follow the road out of Pleasant Park towards Fencing Fields, and you’ll come across a glowing manhole cover in the middle of the road.

Jump down it, and you’ll be taken down into the lair.

Once you’ve made it to the lair, make sure you visit the actual Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles lair. If you go in from another entrance, like in the tunnel, it’s easy to think you’ve found the right place but end up in the subway system with NPCs.

If the room you visited doesn’t look like the one below, you’ve gone to the wrong place and you need to try again.

After that, all you need to do is travel for 500 meters East. That’s it. You can walk, run, drive, whatever, just make sure you get 500 meters away from the lair and the challenge is complete.

It’s really as simple as that. The only difficulty is that Epic don’t tell you that the subway doesn’t count as the TMNT lair, so just make sure you’ve made it to the right spot, and the rest is easy. The area is very busy with players trying to do the same though, so be prepared for a fight.
