The Elite Eight is set!

In shocking fashion, both No. 1 seed’s remaining in the 2023 NCAA Tournament, Alabama and Houston, lost in the Sweet 16, opening up the bracket for a surprise National Championship team.

The most intriguing matchup of the Elite Eight will be the West Regional Finals between No. 4 UConn and No. 3 Gonzaga. Ahead of the tourney, this was projected as the most talented region and that has played out correctly as these are two of the three highest rated teams left in the field.

The second choice to win the title is Texas, who will face Miami on Sunday afternoon for the chance to face the winner of the aforementioned UConn vs. Gonzaga game.

On the other side of the bracket, No. 9 seed Florida Atlantic faces No. 3 Kansas State in the East Regional Finals. They will face the winner of No. 6 Creighton and No. 5 San Diego State.
