
The robot can also carry small loads on its back, such as bringing shopping to the kitchen or carrying a backpack. The Rover X1 is controlled by voice commands, allowing it to function, for example, as an artificial pet and play with children. The feet can be replaced with wheels, enabling the robot to reach higher speeds. A programming interface allows third-party software to expand its functionality.
Price and availability
The Dobot Rover X1 will be offered in China for 7,499 yuan (approx. $1050), but the manufacturer has not yet confirmed when delivery of the robot dog will begin or whether a paid subscription is required to use all functions.
