The 2024 Met Gala brought out our faves for fashion‘s biggest night out, with fashionistas like Zendaya, Cardi B, and Teyana Taylor killing their ensembles, as expected. Met Gala newbie Tyla was also a stand-out, rocking a dress partially made of sand that was sculpted to her body, making for one of the more jaw-dropping looks of the evening.
Another perennial favorite, Janelle Monáe, also shut down the carpet in a silver sequin number while Doja Cat changed out of her VETEMENTS towel dress into an extra-long, soaking wet t-shirt in line with what the “Paint The Town Red” singer has been rocking as of late.
The theme of “The Garden of Time” for The Met’s “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” exhibit was taken quite seriously by others, however, as stars like Usher, Taraji P. Henson and Kerry Washington donned stunning fits that incorporated florals, greenery and all things botanical.
