Jason Kelce has leaned into jokes about his brother, Travis Kelce’s fashion style after a fan poked fun at his jeans.
Travis attended an NBA Playoffs game on Sunday with his Kansas City Chiefs teammates Patrick Mahomes and Hollywood Brown, and Patrick’s wife, Brittany Mahomes.
They sat courtside for the game between the Dallas Mavericks and Minnesota Timberwolves, but it was Travis’ jeans that caught people’s attention due to the small tears across the whole length of his legs.
One person shared the photo to X, formerly Twitter, where they evoked Travis’ famous girlfriend, Taylor Swift to tease him about his style.
“What the f— did taylor cats do with his jeans?” @thisisvertrying wrote, referring to Swift’s three beloved cats.
The joke was not lost on Jason, who reshared it on his own X account.
“Now that’s funny!” the retired NFL star captioned the post.
Swift’s three cats, Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson and Benjamin Button, are no strangers to the spotlight. They appeared with her on the cover of Time magazine when she was named 2023 Person of the Year. They also starred in her music videos for the songs “Blank Space,” “ME!” and “Karma.”

But Travis’ jeans were not the only thing getting attention at the basketball game. The Mavericks faced backlash for referring to him as “Taylor Swift’s boyfriend” on social media.
“Our guy Pat and @taylorswift13’s boyfriend in the house!” Mavericks social media team captioned a video of Mahomes and Kelce at the game, also tagging Taylor Swift’s official X account in the post.
Fans were divided over the caption with some saying it was inappropriate.
“Disrespectful to the best [tight end] in the nfl,” wrote @classic_pl.
“Is this how you disrespect other athletes and guests. Not cool at all,” said @ChoppedCheezeNY.
But others loved the cheeky reference to Swift.
“The caption is the best,” @allyxx posted.
Travis and Swift started dating last summer and went public with their relationship in September, when Swift showed up to watch the Chiefs take on the Chicago Bears at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium.
Swift opened up about going public with Travis for the first time during her interview with Time for Person of the Year.
“When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” she told Time in December. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”
