
Xiaomi has now released its official rollout plans for the recently launched HyperOS. Eight devices will lead the charge globally, with the Redmi Note 12 and Redmi Note 12S joining premium devices in the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13T series.
Over a month ago, a report surfaced indicating Xiaomi’s plans for the first stage of the HyperOS global rollout. Said report listed nine devices as being the company’s first port of call, but was not from official sources, and now looks to have been slightly inaccurate.
An official list has now been released, however, on the Mi Forums, clarifying that eight devices will kickstart the HyperOS global rollout. Those eight devices are as follows:
The Redmi Note 12 and Redmi Note 12S make for the biggest surprises on the list, as Xiaomi has a history of prioritizing its premium phones over the mid-range Redmi Note series with regards to software updates. Either way, owners of the two listed Redmi Note 12 models—as well as the other six devices—can look forward to receiving stable HyperOS updates in Q1 2024.
