A missing South Carolina mother has been found around 200 miles from her home after vanishing during a trip to Atlanta to attend a church conference.

Leigh McAlister, 37, was reported missing after last being seen on Saturday, Feb. 14, the Cobb County Police Department (CCPD) confirmed in a Facebook post.

Leigh had traveled from her hometown of Lexington — a suburb of the S.C. state capital, Columbia — to Atlanta the day prior to attend a church conference in Midtown, according to 11Alive. She was then reported missing by her concerned husband, Rob, after he was unable to get in touch with her.

Rob has since said that his wife has been found at a local hospital by Atlanta police, per 11Alive. The couple shares a 4-year-old son together, The Independent reported.

The CCPD confirmed on Facebook that the missing woman had been located, but didn’t go into further details about her disappearance.

Information regarding Leigh’s condition hasn’t been released, and it’s not known how she ended up at the hospital.

Before Leigh was found, a surveillance video dated Saturday, Feb. 14 showed her at a Publix supermarket in Buckhead, per 11Alive.

The outlet and Columbia station WLTX then reported that Leigh’s SUV had been found abandoned at The Battery in Cobb County on Monday, Feb. 16, with her phone and wallet left behind.

A missing person alert circulating on social media stated that Leigh had been due to return home on Saturday afternoon, but she’d decided to stay in Atlanta until Sunday.

An initial CCPD “Be On The Lookout” (BOLO) release simply read, “The Cobb County Police Major Crimes Unit is investigating the disappearance of 37-year-old Leigh McAlister. She was last seen on Saturday, February 14. She was last seen wearing a white sweater, blue jeans, and brown boots.”

The Cobb County Police Department and the Atlanta Police Department didn’t immediately respond when contacted by PEOPLE for additional information. PEOPLE has also reached out to Rob McAlister.
