Switch 2 System

Kim grew up playing Pokemon and Mario Kart on the Nintendo DS, and she remains a Nintendo diehard. So naturally, she was among the first in line to get Nintendo’s Switch 2 in 2025. “I take that everywhere,” she says.

She’s currently immersed in two games right now. She’s loving Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar, a hyper-relaxing experience that essentially has her running a farm, and (of course!) Mario Kart World, the latest iteration of the ultra-popular kart racer.

Zoom Vomero 5

A few days a week, Kim takes a morning run. And whenever she does, she reaches for the same pair of shoes, the Nike Zoom Vomero. “They’re so good,” she says. “I love those shoes. They’re so bouncy.”

The runs help Kim build her cardio capacity, and yes, that plays an underrated role in competition. A run through the half-pipe requires a blend of explosive energy and sustained cardio.

Perform Better Mini Band Resistance Loop Exercise Bands

Kim’s on-the-road workout doesn’t even need a gym. As long as she has a miniband, she can get herself ready for competition. “I always travel with a workout band,” she says.

Kim typically uses the band to blast her glutes with exercises like clams and glute bridges. She also loves doing dead bugs to blast her abs. “I love them for core exercises,” she says. “And my legs need to get a good warmup, too.”

XOXO

Naturally, Kim doesn’t go anywhere without her snowboard, a custom-made board from Roxy. “Its just great,” she says. “Perfect for what I need to get done.”

Kim’s board is built for her aggressive aerial game. In 2018 in PyeongChang, she became the first woman to land back-to-back 1080 spins (one frontside and one switch/cab), and last year, she was the first woman to land a cab double-cork 1080 in competition. She loves high-risk moves and combos.

Ceremonial Blend 20g

When Kim needs a morning burst of energy, she doesn’t turn to coffee. “I travel with my own matcha, actually,” she says. “I’m not a coffee drinker, and matcha gets the job done.”

Rocky’s ceremonial blend is her matcha of choice, and not just for the caffeine boost, either. “I like it aesthetically, too,” she says. “It’s a good green.”

The Dewy Skin Cream Plumping & Hydrating Moisturizer

Kim never ends a day without handling her skincare regimen (which she told Women’s Health is a seven-step process). And that means using Tatcha’s dewy skin cream. The Japanese skincare line ditches synthetic ingredients for natural Asian ingredients, and Kim, whose parents are from South Korea, has loved the results. “I love Tatcha right now,” she says.
