The LG UltraFine 32U990A has now reached the US, where it is available to pre-order for around $2,000. Not shipping until towards the end of October, the new 32-inch IPS Black monitor will not reach other markets for another few weeks.
Pre-orders have now opened for the UltraFine 32U990A in the US despite not being listed on LG’s US website. As we have discussed previously, the UltraFine 32U990A offers a 6K (6,144 x 3,456) native resolution and a 60 Hz refresh rate across its 32-inch IPS Black panel. Additionally, LG has included the following ports:
- 1x HDMI 2.1
- 2x Thunderbolt 5 (96 W)
- 1x USB Type-C upstream
- 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C downstream
Moreover, the UltraFine 32U990A is VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified with 450 nits SDR and 600 nits HDR peak brightness at its disposal. Also, the 32-inch monitor delivers 98% DCI-P3 and 99.5% AdobeRGB colour space coverages, as well as true 10-bit colour depth and a 2,000:1 contrast ratio. Please note that the UltraFine 32U990A also features a matte display finish, unlike the glossy UltraGear OLED 27GX704A that LG recently launched.
The UltraFine 32U990A can be ordered from today in the US for $1,999.99. However, pre-orders will not begin shipping from B&H Photo Video until October 20. Meanwhile, pre-orders will not open until mid-October in other markets like Canada and the Eurozone.
